THE FIELD

The field has a balance of competitive matchups throughout both events.

*Game 1-Benton Harbor and Godwin Heights both are cornerstone programs of the 2K Showcase. Although this game would have produced a sell out crowd in the 2010 era, the game still shapes up to be a good match up for both teams.

*Game 2-Hamtramck has recently won 4 of its last 5 games while Kalamazoo Central is off to another strong start. You can expect this game will be won on the defensive side of the floor.

*Game 3-Two teams riding the momentum. Detroit King has won 4 of its last 5 games while Grand Rapids Catholic Central has won their share of 4 games in a row.

*Game 4-The defending Division 2 state champs, Warren Lincoln, have regained their rhythm with Moses Blackwell back in the lineup. Chicago Hyde Park has started to find its stride as both teams have played some of the toughest schedules in Michigan and Illinois this season.

*Game 6-Ferndale and East Kentwood both produce two of the state's youngest rosters. Both programs have strong 2027 classes.

*Game 7-Detroit Cass Tech, currently ranked as a top 10 team in Division 1 and currently won 6 games in a row, will take on a young and rising Grand Rapids Christian have won 4 in a row.
